My Mission Statement

My mission as a student at UTC as a pre-physical therapy major is to seek and take advantage of all knowledge presented to me to enhance my knowledge as an individual and to strive to be the best that I can be in any and everything I do.  Through physical therapy my goal is to help enhance the “Quality of Life” of others that need it through exercise science, health promotion, and leisure studies.  My mission as not only a pre-physical therapy major, but as student in EHLS is to master the knowledge and skills required for me to perform as a physical therapist who will own my own sport’s clinic.

Hello and welcome to my first web site. Everyone else has a web site, so I figured, why not me too? On this site I'll describe myself and share my interests and ideas.

Just in case you didn't catch it the first time, my name is Siobhan Sturghill.  I am from Memphis, TN, and I am currently attending The University of Tennesse at Chattanooga. I am a freshman majoring in pre-physical therapy and hope to eventually own my own sport's clinic one day.

My Philosophy
My Philosophy in my EHLS class is that as long as information is being provided, I will take advantage. Everything presented to me will help me in the long run. EHLS helps me to further my development and knowledge in physical therapy. I believe it is satisfying and a moral duty to help others. I want to give, and I believe this is what EHLS provides me with through programs, fund raisers, and community projects.
